The 68th Health Physics Society (HPS) Annual Meeting in National Harbor, Maryland, was great. The HPS Student Support Committee (SSC) recorded a good turnout of students at all events. Many students worked at the meeting, and the SSC was able to host all the planned in-person events, including the return of the annual Quiz Bowl, speed networking, and a hybrid committee meeting.

The Quiz Bowl was an exciting competition where questions from all aspects of health physics were asked. There was some awesome participation with spectators cheering on the teams competing for the grand prize. The teams competing this year included students from Clemson University, Purdue, Georgia Institute of Technology, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

The speed networking event witnessed more than 30 attendees (20 students, 5 early career professionals, and 7 established professionals). It was an exciting time—students met and connected with both early career professionals and experienced individuals within the HPS in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This year's speed networking witnessed professionals in industries such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratory, Duke University, Multi-Industrial Services, INC, etc. Professionals in academia were also present to mentor students and give insights on research and collaboration.

Lastly, the hybrid SCC meeting was held, and several deliberations were made. The committee recorded four new members joining the team. Also, the transition of the chair role from Dawn Montgomery to Jillian Newmyer was officially done.

The SSC looks forward to hosting a bigger event at next year's HPS annual meeting in Orlando, Florida, with even more students participating from all over the world.
