New Jersey Chapter News
The New Jersey Chapter of the Health Physics Society (NJHPS) had a very busy spring! On 25 April, Sean Austin, CHP, of Plexus Scientific Corporation, provided DOT training for approximately three dozen participants. Sean's triennial training course has become an NJHPS tradition. On 20 June, another tradition continued when the New Jersey and Greater New York Chapters welcomed HPS President-elect Elizabeth Brackett. Approximately 40 people attended the meeting at Don Pepe Restaurant in Newark's Ironbound section. All enjoyed a delicious buffet of Portuguese and Spanish food, easily the best Liz will encounter on her "rubber chicken" tour.
