68th Health Physics Society Annual Meeting – Special Session Spotlight

The Program Committee is preparing for the 68th Health Physics Society (HPS) Annual Meeting, which is being held in National Harbor 23–27 July, and the preliminary program is now available online.

Our spotlight this issue is on two important special sessions.

Medical Health Physics Session

Join us to explore the latest developments in medical radiation safety and health physics. This year's medical session is not to be missed! Our distinguished panel of experts will be discussing a wide range of topics, from ambulance CT scanners to occupational doses from F-18 PET packaging to extravasation dosimetry. And what medical health physics session is complete without at least a few talks on everyone's favorite radionuclide—lutetium-177? Whether you're a medical physicist, a radiologist, a radiation safety officer, or a health care professional interested in the latest developments in medical radiation safety, this session is sure to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities. Medical Health Physics 1 will be Tuesday, 25 July, 8 am–noon, and Medical Health Physics 2 will be Tuesday, 25 July, 2:30–4:45 pm.
