East Tennessee Chapter Turner Symposium

On Saturday, 12 February 2022, the East Tennessee Chapter of the Health Physics Society came together at Roane State Community College in Oak Ridge for the 12th Annual James E. Turner Memorial Symposium. The symposium honors the legacy of James E. (Jim) Turner (1930-2008), former member of the East Tennessee Chapter. Many of his authored handbooks are still used as references in the radiation safety field. Twenty-nine members came together for the event to hear seven speakers.
