- RAD7– Active technique to measure radon and thoron concentration in air, water and radon in soil.
- Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors (SSNTDs) – To monitor level of indoor Radon/Thoron.
- Wire-mesh capped progeny sensors (DTPS/DRPS) – To measure attached and unattached fraction of Radon/Thoron progeny concentration in indoor environment.
- Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer - To determine concentration of heavy metals in soil and aqueous samples
