HPS Continuing Education Programs Committee
In January, Health Physics Society (HPS) leadership voted to approve HPS Rule 7.39 establishing the Continuing Education Programs Committee and to terminate Rules 7.1.6, Continuing Education Committee (CEC) and 7.1.33, Professional Development School (PDS). Rule 7.39 effectively combines the functions of the CEC and PDS. While some training methods, such as PEPs, will continue to be given at HPS meetings, the new committee will work to deliver training in new formats, such as free member webinars, and at other times during the year. We will be sharing more information over coming months.
