Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center Health Physics Program Resources
The University of Colorado Denver (UCD), Colorado State University (CSU), National Jewish Health (NJH), Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA), and the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (UNM) have come together to provide graduate training, continuing education, and outreach in the area of occupational and environmental health and safety.
Known as the Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC), it is one of 17 Education and Research Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (CDC/NIOSH).
One of the MAP ERC academic programs is health physics. The program is offered through the Department of Environmental & Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University. The MAP ERC Health Physics Program offers video presentations of visiting lectures on health physics topics.
