FDA Announces Medical Device Learning Program

The Food and Drug Administration Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) has announced an invitation for participation in its Experiential Learning Program (ELP).

The ELP provides CDRH staff with an opportunity to observe the device-development life cycle and provides a better understanding of the medical devices reviewed and the challenges faced throughout development, testing, manufacturing, and clinical use.

The CDRH is inviting medical device industry, academia, and health care facilities to participate in this formal training program. Anyone who is interested should submit either an electronic or written request for participation in this program by 2 June 2014.

More information about the request can be found in the 1 May 2014 Federal Register at  gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-05-01/pdf/2014-09916.pdf.
