The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is holding two workshops in April on a draft of NUREG-1556, Volume 9, "Consolidated Guidance About Materials Licenses; Program-Specific Guidance About Medical Use Licenses."
The workshops will be conducted as roundtable discussions among invited participants representing the broad spectrum of interests that may be affected by the rule and guidance.
HPS members can get more details about the workshops and about HPS members participating in the workshops and a copy of the draft NUREG in the Members Only area of the website.
The workshops will be held April 25 and 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the NRC headquarters in Rockville, Maryland.
For interested members of the public the draft guidance document is available on the NRC website, www.nrc.gov. Members of the public wishing to attend the workshops should contact Roberta Gordon in advance at 301-415-7555 to facilitate entrance into the building on the day of the workshops.
