Save the date for upcoming events by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) regarding the Review of the Continued Analysis of Supplemental Treatment of Low-Activity Waste at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.
The first meeting will take place virtually on 11 January 2023, 10 am to 1 pm ET. This will be an information-gathering meeting where the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of River Protection will update the committee on current activities at the Hanford Site, relevant to the related consensus study. An additional information-gathering meeting with public sessions will take place on 31 January 2023, 10 am to 3:30 pm PT, and on 1 February 2023, 10 am to 12 pm PT. During these hybrid sessions, the Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) team will present its response to the NASEM committee's second review and discuss its third and final report provided to the committee.
