Harvey Appointed to Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Radiation
Health Physics Society member Dr. Richard Harvey has been appointed to a four-year term filling the radiation safety officer slot on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes (ACMUI). Rich is a certified health and medical physicist and serves as the director of radiation safety and radiation safety officer for the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. He also serves as a research assistant professor in the Department of Nuclear Medicine for the University of Buffalo.
