Health Physics Journal: Going Online

Brant Ulsh, CHP, PhD, Health Physics Editor in Chief

Health Physics Society members are automatically signed up to receive the monthly hard copy of Health Physics as a benefit of membership. But some people prefer reading our content on their tablets or computers, and some of our readers are motivated by environmental concerns and want to minimize their paper use. So periodically I am asked how one can opt out of receiving the paper copy of the Journal while retaining electronic access. It is as easy as sending an email and patiently waiting a few months for your request to make it through the system. Just email Heide Rohland at Burk & Associates and let her know that you would like to opt out of receiving paper copies of the Journal.

At the same time, I encourage you to visit the Journal's website:

  • Go to HPS.org.
  • Click on the Members icon (requires your HPS member number and password).
  • Click on the "Publications" icon.
  • Click on the "The most recent volumes (1999 to present)" link.

Be sure to bookmark this page, and while you are there, please also sign up to receive electronic Table of Contents (eTOC) alerts if you don't already get them.
