HPS Comments on IRPA Guiding Principles
On 31 January 2021, the Health Physics Society (HPS) responded to a request from the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA), via a letter signed by HPS President Eric Goldin. Specifically, HPS commented on "IRPA Guiding Principles on 'Reasonableness' in the Optimisation of Radiation Protection." Initial comments of the request were submitted in September 2020. For the second round of comments, input was sought from standing committees, sections, and individual members.
