The American Nuclear Society/Health Physics Society conference "Applicability of Radiation-Response Models to Low-Dose Protection Standards" reviewed the current knowledge and understanding of the science underlying low-dose radiation effects and critically evaluated the need for updating radiation protection standards and regulations.
