Government and Society Relations Committee

The Government and Society Relations Committee (previously called the Legislation and Regulation Committee) is responsible for HPS Strategic Plan Objectives 5.1 through 5.4. The committee reviews proposed regulations and legislation affecting the health physics community. At the request of the HPS president, an HPS Board member, or a Scientific and Public Issues Committee member, the Legislation and Regulation Committee will develop position statements or white papers on topical issues.
