H3D provides instruments and technical expertise for radiation protection activities. All of our radiation detectors provide accurate radioisotope identification and dose rates, and our specialty is radiation imaging. Radiation imaging is a key factor in reducing dose and following ALARA protocol, since if a room can be imaged at a standoff distance, workers do not need to enter the area to perform surveys. If workers need to enter the room for other business, the radiation image created by our detectors informs the worker where in the room/area to avoid. Instant and accurate radiation source ID also reduces the amount of time needed for workers to be present in hazardous areas.
