Located just south of Denver in Castle Rock, Colorado, Mazur Instruments designs, develops and manufactures handheld survey meters used by professionals and organizations across the globe to detect, measure and monitor nuclear radiation. Development of the company’s first product, the PRM-8000, began in March of 2008, and the initial qualification prototypes were available in October of that same year. The device was well received in Japan, following the March 2011 Fukushima incident and continues to be used worldwide.
