Morse Richard Olin, 56, of Hanover, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2013, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on December 29, 1956, Morse went on to graduate from Virginia Tech, earning a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Health Physics. He dedicated his professional life to nuclear safety, working for many years as a highly respected health physicist and serving as the Supervisor of Nuclear Emergency Preparedness for Dominion Energy.
Morse was the devoted husband of Barbara Olin, with whom he shared 34 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to his three sons, Josh, Zach, and Connor. He is also survived by his mother, Tillie Anderson; his brother, John Olin; and his sister, Carol Brendsel. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Clarence Eugene Humphreys, Jr.
