President Fisher Joins Dade Moeller

Dr. Darrell R. Fisher, president of the Health Physics Society, has joined Dade Moeller as a principal medical dosimetrist. Fisher completed a nearly 35-year career at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where he led the Isotope Sciences Program, a national nuclear technology resource.

"We are truly fortunate to have an esteemed scientist like Dr. Fisher join our ranks," said Matt Moeller, CEO. "His research contributions and commitment to advancing science are fundamental to our company’s mission."

Fisher will provide senior leadership to Dade Moeller's medical physics practice, evaluating the internal dosimetry and health effects of exposures to medically administered radiopharmaceuticals and from external radiation beams used to treat and cure cancer. He also will support the growth of the company's new subsidiary, Dade Moeller Health Group, LLC, by providing clinical dosimetry support to university hospitals as well as to pharmaceutical companies involved in clinical trials of various compounds labeled with radioactive elements. Fisher also will continue to serve as an affiliate associate professor of radiology with the University of Washington School of Medicine and as an adjunct faculty member at Washington State University.
