NRC Completes Fiscal Year 2012 Nuclear Education Grant Awards and Announces Fiscal Year 2013 Federal Funding Opportunities
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has awarded another $3.7 million in fiscal year 2012 (total of $18.6M) for university scholarships, fellowships, and faculty development grants in nuclear science education, including health physics.
The NRC also announced funding opportunities for FY 2013. Health Physics Society (HPS) Past President Kathy Pryor advocated for these funds during her HPS president's trips to Washington, DC.
