Volunteer Week

Message from Health Physics Society President Kathy Pryor:

Our volunteers are an invaluable part of our Society. In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week, the Health Physics Society would like to thank all of our members for their time, effort, and dedication to the work of the Society in promoting excellence in the science and practice of radiation safety. Our nearly 5,000 members represent all scientific and technical areas related to radiation safety, including academia, government, medicine, research and development, analytical services, consulting, and industry in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Taking an active role in your Society is a great way to give back, allowing you to actively shape the future of health physics. It's also a great way to gain valuable experience and work with leaders in our field. There are many opportunities to participate on committees, sections, and communications and in elected leadership positions. No matter what your interests are, there is a place for you to volunteer. To learn more about how you can get involved, please contact us at hps@burkinc.com.

Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week!
