The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) independent investigation team is seeking information from current and former employees of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant as part of its continuing investigation of the environment, safety and health issues at the plant.

During his recent visit to Paducah, Secretary Bill Richardson encouraged residents, workers and retirees to share information that could help the DOE investigation team.

Individuals involved in operations, maintenance, cascade modifications, waste management or disposal, or monitoring of environment, safety and health who believe they can provide information of value to the investigation should call 1-800-556-5415 by October 5, 1999. Calls will be returned by the DOE's Office of Oversight, who will schedule times for interviews.
