Beginning in 2000, what has always been called the Health Physics Society (HPS) Annual Meeting will be the American Radiation Safety Conference and Exposition. The new title was selected to reflect the fact that the conference encompasses meetings of the American Academy of Health Physics, the American Board of Health Physics, and the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists in addition to the HPS.
