If you're planning on attending the American Radiation Safety Conference and Exposition (HPS Annual Meeting) in Denver 25-29 June 2000, be sure and stop at the Health Physics Society's Publications Booth near the Registration Desk.
In previous years we've given away baskets of "Minnesota Goodies" and five-pound Hershey bars. This year when you fill out our questionnaire, you will have a chance to take home a box of books that will be given away each day that the booth is open (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
Books given away will include these books: the Handbook of Health Physics and Radiological Health, Basic Health Physics Problems and Solutions, Environmental Health, The Health Physics Solutions Manual, Basic Radiation Protection Technology, Introduction to Health Physics, Radiological Assessment: Sources and Doses, Radiation Shielding, and Physics for Radiation Protection.
These books are made available courtesy of the authors and/or publishers.
