This new Health Physics Society website was made "official" on April 1, 1999. (no fooling) The new website is aimed at providing information for Society members, the general public, and the media. Interactive features enable users to join the Society, register for a conference, or "ask the expert". Society members will be able to participate in on-line discussion forums and join a mail list in the "Members Only" section.
Many parts of the new website are still "under construction," and the target date for completion of all features is June 1, 1999.
