Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN (IUI) is hiring for an Assistant Radiation Safety Officer/Health Physicist. This position is a combination of academic and medical radiation safety responsibilities for the IUI campus and associated hospitals under our NRC broad-scope license. The position is based on the IUI campus.
Minimum requirements are two years of full-time professional experience in academic and/or medical health physics and a BS degree in health physics or related degree.
The starting salary for this position is $89,000/yr.
IU offers six weeks of paid time off for the first five years of employment and seven weeks yearly thereafter.
IU offers 10 paid holidays plus the days between Christmas and New Year’s as paid holidays.
