I am writing a case trying to petition the US Government to help clean up the Marshall Islands. I wanted to know the effects that the nuclear testing had on the people of the Marshall Islands.

Fallout radiation from nuclear testing in the South Pacific has been associated with an increased incidence of tumors, especially thyroid and leukemia, in Marshall Islanders. The subject has been reviewed by Gilbert et al., "Health effects from fallout," Health Physics 2002 May; 82(5):726-35.
