Answer to Question #3005 Submitted to "Ask the Experts"

Category: Suntanning

The following question was answered by an expert in the appropriate field:

Q
I like being in the sun but I don't want to get a tan. How do I keep my skin fair? Do sunblocks work?
A

Yes, sunblocks work, but be sure to read the package label as far as the amount to apply and how often to reapply. One application does not work all day, especially if you engage in activities that make you perspire or if you go swimming. These require reapplication.
