Category: Doses and Dose Calculations — Basic dose information, dose quantities, units

The following question was answered by an expert in the appropriate field:

Q
I need to make a review on neutron dosimetry using solid state detectors type Columbia Resin or CR-39. I wonder if you could help me look in Physics Abstracts, Nuclear Instruments and Methods, Radiation Protection Dosimetry, and Health Physics.
A
We are not able to do custom literature searches for you since we do not have a staff. All of our experts are volunteers. However, you might find the text from the Health Physics Society (HPS) 1996 Summer School helpful to you. It is Applications of New Technology: External Dosimetry, edited by Jack Higginbotham. In particular, the Chapter "Neutron Dosimetry" has a section on CR-39 detectors. The text is available from the HPS Secretariat.
