Is it possible to cover windows with "films" which block UVA and UVB radiation to protect a person who suffers from a dermatological allergy against sunlight? What material should the film be? Is there any solution on the market already?
A
Most glass will not block the entire UV spectrum, 100-400 nm. Most glass will block UV wavelengths below 300 nm. Yes, many commercial films are available to block UV. Many hardware stores carry them.
