Readiness Issues for Emergency Response Instrumentation
C. A. Riland, R. J. Tighe, D. R. Bowman
Emergency response to radiological accidents presents unique circumstances for instrument use. Maintaining readiness of instrumentation for radiological emergency response also presents unique problems. While difficulties exist for maintaining instrument readiness for local emergencies, the problems intensify for instrumentation that may be deployed to a variety of locations and climates.
