From the Editor

This issue of IARPE is a bit slim as we had many fewer submitted items than the last issue. I'll take that as a favorable sign that everyone is busy doing important accelerator HP work.

Because of the approaching holiday season, I would like to make 17 December 1999 the deadline for submitting items to the next issue of IARPE. Hopefully, by making mention of this deadline at this time, everyone will have an early start for the items to be submitted for the next issue.
