The Accelerator Applications Technical Group was formally given division
status approval by the ANS Board of Directors at the Boston June Meeting.
The next topical of this group, Accelerator Applications '99 (AccApp99)
will be held in Long Beach, Ca, Nov 14-18th, 1999. It is interesting to
note that although AA has only 2% of ANS membership, it provided 10% of the
papers at the June ANS meeting.
