The 33rd HPS Midyear Topical Meeting (Instrumentation, Measurements, and
Electronic Dosimetry) brought together about 15 Accelerator Section members
for dinner at Captain George's Seafood Restaurant in Virginia Beach. We all
thoroughly enjoyed the buffet dinner, the company, and the lively
conversation. Very little business was discussed, and none of that on the
record. We even picked up a new Section member that night - Dawn Lobbes, who
is a colleague of Wes Dunn at International Isotopes! Section members
presented several very good posters, though not in a formal Accelerator
Section setting.
I enjoyed meeting with all the folks there and look forward to seeing you all
again at the meeting in Denver!
