Now is the time to prepare your thoughts for a presentation at the Accelerator Section's special session held at each year's annual Health Physics Society (HPS) meeting. This year the convention will be in San Diego from July 20-24, 2003.
All of you who have attended this session in the past know that the meeting is a valuable time for discussion of new research related to accelerator health physics, advances in monitoring techniques and shielding calculations, and other topics that you are likely to find of interest.
Many of you are involved in activities that are worth sharing with your colleagues. We are in the process of organizing the meeting, and I hope that you will consider submitting a paper for the Accelerator Section session. The HPS Program Committee has set Friday, February 7, 2003, as the abstract deadline.
If you are interested, see the call for papers in the November issue of the Health Physics Newsletter for further details. Please let me know also if you plan to submit an abstract.
I hope you will consider presenting a paper at our Accelerator Section session. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for the session.
