Position Available at Brookhaven National Lab
Position requires a BS in health physics or a related field and proven ability to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive radiation protection program in an environment similar to the Laboratory. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also necessary. In addition, 15 years of experience in radiation protection, of which at least 5 years must be in a related management role, is required. An MS and/or certification from the American Board of Health Physics are preferred. Additional consideration will be given to those having U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) experience. Will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of the Radiological Control Management System and have oversight for the Radiological Control Division staff.
