Frank Masse Retires
Frank Masse
Frank Masse has announced his "semiretirement" from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) after 41 years in that program. MIT has contracted for his continued involvement at the 40% level and his retention as the institute's radiation protection officer (RPO). Frank has, however, relinquished the Bates Lab RPO title, which he has held since Bates' first beam, to Gerry Fallon, who is well known to the Accelerator Section. Frank will keep his office at Bates and will continue to be very active in his outside consulting activities and with the Health Physics Society.
