Call for Nominations for Officers and Board Members

The Accelerator Section Nominating Committee is in the process of drafting nominees to fill executive board positions which will be vacated at the 2006 annual meeting. The positions are president-elect, secretary, treasurer, newsletter editor, and two board members (three-year term). The current officers are

We welcome your help in thinking about potential officers and directors, and we look forward to new participation and your direct input into the functioning of the section.

If you wish to nominate someone for one of the offices mentioned above, please first contact the prospective nominee, ensure that they are currently a member of the section, and determine if they are willing to serve in that position. Then contact me before Monday, May 1, 2006, with your nomination.

The only requirement for running and holding office is that the nominee must be a current member of the Accelerator Section.
