Well, as many of you know, I've left the world of accelerators and am now working in dosimetry. I am the Performance Evaluation Program Administrator for the Department of Energy Laboratory Accreditation Program (DOELAP). I will, however, be fulfilling my duties for the remainder of my term in office as past president of the Accelerator Section and will continue to remain a member of the section.
Speaking of duties, I am putting together a nomination committee for the upcoming elections. I would solicit your help now in thinking about potential officers. We will be electing two directors, a treasurer, a newsletter editor, and a president-elect. The official call for nominations will go out soon, so please respond quickly and enthusiastically when it does! Please feel free also to nominate yourself . . . I won't tell!
