American National Standard N13.41
Criteria for Performing Multiple Dosimetry
This
standard provides criteria for when and how to use multiple dosimeters
under conditions incident to routine activities in the presence of
ionizing radiation, as well as the recommended methodology for
determining the effective dose equivalent when the use of multiple
dosimeters has been deemed necessary by radiation protection
professionals.
At the time of the writing of this standard, the International
Commission on Radiological Protection had just released Publication 60,
"1990 Recommendations of the ICRP." The concepts regarding effective
dose contained in ICRP Publication 60 are not addressed in this
standard.
