The Health Physics Society is a scientific and professional organization
whose members specialize in occupational and environmental radiation safety. The
primary purpose of the Society is to support its members in the practice of
their profession.
The CCHPS covers Western Oregon and Western Washington, covering the area between Eugene Oregon to
Seattle Washington. The Members are in radiation protection or related fields, from universities,
hospitals, government, research and business.
This Chapter's primary objectives are:
- Encourage the diessemination of information between individuals
- Improve public understanding of radiation
- Provide open lines of communication between radiation professionals

The meeting will be held October 31st, 2008, at the Tyee Center in Olympia, WA. The featured speaker will be Dr. Scott Davis
from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington. Come to the meeting to hear a great speaker and show your supprot for the chapter.
