Local Arrangements 2008 Midyear Meeting Committee

The Local Arrangements Committee is responsible, in part, for HPS Strategic Plan Objective 3.1 by representing, along with the Executive Secretary, the Society in the contractual arrangements necessary for the orderly functioning of the annual meeting and serving as the official host to the attendees of the annual meeting.

The Local Arrangements Committee is composed of five or more members and is appointed for each annual meeting of the Society. The Board approves only the chair for each Local Arrangements Committee after the location for an annual meeting is decided.
